THEN COMES LOVE
From Wellingtonnz.com:

'Then Comes Love', a new play from the author of the hit comedy 'Serial Killers', starring leading British Actress, Zoe Lucker (Footballers' Wives) and New Zealander Shane Cortese. Directed by David McPhail.

Hot off the pen of one of New Zealand's foremost dramatists comes the World Premiere of the juicy, wry and scintillating comedy Then Comes Love.

They met on New Years morning.
He's already married and she's engaged.
Despite their best intentions, love has other plans.

In the casting coup of the year, Zoe Lucker, the platinum bombshell from the hit UK series Footballers' Wives and Bad Girls, brings her talent to our shores. She plays Jane, a betrothed accountant, whose life is thrown into turmoil when, love takes her by surprise in the form of romance novelist John, played by former Shortland Street actor Shane Cortese.

Still on his way home, John, rests against a wall in last nights dinner suit. Jane, an accountant, ratifies her new years resolutions by going for a morning jog. Two unlikely people cross paths in an unlikely place.

Starting from this chance encounter, dramatist James Griffin began a journey to explore a year in the lives of two good and moral people, already in solid relationships, who begin an affair because of their undeniable attraction. Partially in response to the spate of dark and twisted tales of infidelity Griffin wanted "to write a play that explored the other side of the coin. The fun side of infidelity, as it were."

Insightful and bittersweet Griffin weaves a fun and at times emotionally harrowing adventure into a tight and seamless two-hander and proves the language of love is universal. With the unique and talented cast of Shane Cortese and Zoe Lucker, this story is as eye-catching and sexy as it is bittersweet. This years original must see!
