Stunning Footballers' Wives star Zoe Lucker is the first major signing to a new army drama called Bombshell.
The prime-time series, made by Shed Productions, will focus on the lives of 10 people on and off the parade ground.

A spokeswoman told TV Plus: "Tabloid speculation that it'll be based on the 'Mucky Major' sex scandal is wide of the mark. It's an ensemble piece and casting for the other roles will get under way in the next few weeks.
The spokeswoman said the role was "a million miles away" from Lucker's Footballers' Wives character, the scheming Tanya Turner.

The series begins with a 90-minute special next year.
