September 26, 2008 ZOE LUCKER'S BABY GIRL!!!

Zoe will be back at work soon too, hosting a new DIY show for women. 'Love The Place You’re In' starts next month on UKTV Style and sees Zoe helping families to adapt their homes to fit their lifestyles.

August 13, 2008 ZOE'S NEW TV SPECIAL

Zoe will host the 10-part show called Love The Place You’re In, a home improvement series that will be aired on UKTV Style this October.
The series, produced by Talkback Thames, is a new concept which reflects the changes in the housing market and how the credit crunch is affecting would-be buyers.
Zoe is renovating her home and expecting the imminent arrival of her first child, and is perfectly cast as the voice of the real homeowner. She said: “I’m really pleased to be presenting this new show. I’m renovating my home so can really identify with the contributors and will hopefully learn some tips of my own as well as giving them some advice!”
Zoe will be joined by Changing Rooms’ interior designer Gordon Whistance and psychologist Linda Papadopoulos. Together they will meet families whose homes no longer meet their needs, from children who are turning into teenagers, a recently divorced person or someone who needs to work from home.
UKTV’s Catherine Catton, said: “I’m delighted to be working with Zoe. As someone going through her own home renovation she will really be able to empathise with the homeowners."

August 13, 2008 HOLBY BLUE CANCELLED

The BBC has dropped Holby Blue, a spin-off programme to long-running medical series Holby City.

The police drama, which starred Footballers' Wives actress Zoe Lucker and former EastEnder Kacey Ainsworth, made its debut in May 2007. The second series began with 5.6m viewers in March but by the end of May, the audience had dropped to 2.5m.
Claire Phillips, drama executive at Red Planet Pictures, told The Guardian: "Holby Blue set new standards for 8pm dramas, in terms of production values, storytelling and casting.
"We are extremely proud of the 20 hours of Holby Blue that we produced but following discussions with the BBC, the decision has been made not to make a third series."

August 13, 2008 ZOE FINDS PREGNANCY 'LIBERATING'

British actress Zoe Lucker, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend James "Jim" Herbert, says that there's "something liberating about being being pregnant." Speaking in this week's edition of Hello! magazine, she said, [Pregnancy] has unexpected benefits. I feel comfortable walking down the street with people looking at me, whereas I used to hate it. Not that you can let yourself go. but there is nothing you can do and you give your body over to someone else. In the first few months it is a very odd thing, waking up every day and your body is changing without you doing anything about it. I used to be a terrible insomniac but now I sleep really well.
The 34-year-old also revealed that she and James plan to have a delivery surprise at their local NHS hospital in Surrey.
Everyone has opinions because of my shape, but we can't see anything on the scans so we are going to have a surprise. I have found a brilliant midwife who is great and I feel in such good hands. She is happy and bubbly and she makes me feel I could ask her anything without feeling embarrassed.
Zoe's due date is August 28th.

April 09, 2008 ZOE LUCKER PREGNANT !

Actress Zoe Lucker is taking on a new role as a mum-to-be! Zoe is five months pregnant, her agent has confirmed. She is expecting her first child with fiancé James Herbert. 'Zoe and James couldn't be happier,' a source told to 'The Sun' newspaper.
Zoe’s dad Paul Lucker said: “The whole family is absolutely delighted. We’ve had to keep it quiet for ages and I’ll probably get in trouble for talking about it.”
Baby Lucker is due in August.
Earlier this year Zoe, revealed having children was on her wish list. "I've always wanted children," she said. "I'll still have to work – I've got a mortgage – but I'd like to spend as much time as possible at home during the baby's first couple of years. Hiring a nanny and going straight back to work isn't me at all."
